We took our popular essential oil blend found in our insect repellent and made into a lotion bar that will give you a long lasting effect. We also wanted the maximum effect of the potent essential oils so we increased the blend by more than 10% over our standard lotion bar to achieve this result. We also know that utilizing the product in a balm allows for the essential oils to linger longer on the skin as the wax will hold it even if you get wet or find yourself sweating. Lastly, we love that not only will the product keep the bugs away it also leaves your skin feeling nourished and soft as the balm does its work. This 100% natural product is going to be a new favorite for all customers as it is kid friendly, vegan, cruelty free and chalk full of amazing ingredient that are free from harmful chemicals. To use just apply liberally on all exposed skin. Reapply as needed if you notice the effectiveness wearing off.
We are utilizing our new all natural plant based lotion bar base in this product. We wanted the best performance for the insect balm so we set out to make a new balm to achieve that goal. Our result was an amazing new lotion bar base that we have fallen in love with. It has a great feel and glide but still apples a generous layer of amazing oils and wax on the skin for protection. Using a unique blend of oils and wax we worked to create a stable and firm bar that holds well to higher temperatures but is still silky smooth when applied. The candelilla wax provides the long lasting and protective wax layer that keeps the product working. While the addition of ingredients like bayberry wax and sunflower lecithin creates both a unique honey like scent but also adds great moisturizing properties. We found that this combination recreates the hard to duplicate properties that makes beeswax so unique and amazing in skincare products.
